PB & Chocolate Power Smoothie

Here on TPS we’re trying to start our new year off right with some health & fitness goals. With our busy schedules its sometimes hard to eat better, especially on the go. You know how it is. Sometimes you get up late, and have to be at work in 10 minutes – like Hannah the other day. haha. It’s tempting to take the easy way out by just stopping for a doughnut at the local convenience store, when you know you should be eating a nutritious breakfast. Instead of reaching for that Double Chocolate Eclair, you can go for a better option by making a delicious protein rich smoothie with Jif Peanut Powder! It’s great to whip up on the go, and you can even drink it while you’re on your way to work, school, or wherever you have to be that morning.

PB & Chocolate Power Smoothie  

Jif Peanut Powder is a really good source of protein that you can use to enhance your smoothies. Not only are you getting a smoothie that’s packed with protein, it also tastes really good! Since Jif Peanut Powder is made only from real peanuts (no added sugars or salt)it’s a lot better to use than a lot of regular peanut butters. It also has 85% less fat, which we can always go for! We also used some Silk Almond milk for some added flavor. We picked up all of these at our local Walmart, it was super easy to find.

PB & Chocolate Power Smoothie

To get started with your PB & Chocolate Power Smoothie, you’ll need a few ingredients, literally, a few. We weren’t kidding when we said it was easy.

1 scoop of Protein Powder
2 Tbsp. Jif Peanut Powder
2 Tbsp. Jif Chocolate Peanut Powder
2 Bananas (You could also try freezing the banana first)
1 cup Silk Vanilla Almond Milk  

PB & Chocolate Power Smoothie

To make up your smoothie, you blend all of the ingredients together in a blender, like we did here. Once everything is nice and blended, you can put in a tumbler to take with you, or you can just drink it right out of the blender! You can also make some of this up the night before, in case you have an especially early morning. That way you can be ready to go, no matter what!

Ingredients
