If you checked out our Trim & Healthy Breakfast Frittata recipe last week then you know we’ve been using this Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook to make some meals recently. The other day we posted our adaptation of the Trim & Healthy Breakfast Frittata.
This cookbook is written by two sisters who wanted to write a cookbook to encourage women & men to feed their bodies & souls the right way. They wanted to make a “effective and delicious way to eat for health & weight loss.
We like the way this cookbook was laid out because it features a lot of photos of the different dishes, and that’s always a plus with us (tehe). We love seeing the actual dishes and what they’re supposed to look like as we’re making them. We also love that its geared towards more of a healthy lifestyle. The whole goal of using this cookbook is to be a trim & healthy mama(we took notes for the future) and the recipes are supposed to guide you along on your weight loss journey. They also have a meal plan along with more info available on their website.
The only con that we have seen with this cookbook is that usually there’s always that one ingredient in each recipe that we either have never heard of/ can’t find in our area and it makes it hard to put together a few of the recipes without it.
Overall this would be a great cookbook if you’re trying to eat healthier and possibly lose weight. The recipes are pretty simple and easy to follow. Plus, this book has 350+ recipes inside, so its really a great value for the money.
