The Morning Brew - with The BFFs #6

Hey guys! Hello and welcome to the fourth edition of The Morning Brew – with the BFF’s! If you’re one of our email subscribers (which you totally should be!) then you know that we love sharing our weekly favorites as well as a little bit about what we’ve been up to during the week when we weren’t blogging. It’s a lot of fun for sure! Well, now we’ve decided to expand this by starting a weekly post on Monday morning’s. We’ll be sharing little bits of our weeks, rants and rambles, as well as some of the things that we’re loving. So grab a nice cup o’ Joe (or tea) and chat with us this morning. Feel free to leave a comment, and share about your past week as well. We’d love to hear what everyone’s been up to.

Do you have any plans to celebrate Cinco de Mayo?

Here are a few of the things that we just couldn’t get enough of this week:

Ferns!- This past week I picked up this fern and have been thinking about it almost everyday. That’s normal right? But really, I have this weird love/obsession for ferns, I can’t explain it but I want more. And I want them to be big!
(Sorry for the poor lighting, I took this when it was dark, haha)

Arch & Eddies!– Sara and I always love supporting our local businesses and especially local eats. We’ve been frequenting the Arch & Eddies place here in our town for quite some time. We love all of the lunch and dinner specials available, as well as the awesome atmosphere. It’s a great place to take your friend, or do some blog post planning. 🙂
If you’re ever in the Jackson, OH area, you should definitely check it out. (The photo was some shrimp tacos by the way)

Blackberries – I’ve been so obsessed with blackberries lately. I’ve been finding so many great ones at the store lately. Kroger had a sale on them recently, and I picked some up that were absolutely delicious. Since then I’ve been buying more where I work. They’re such a great snack, plus I love adding them in my yogurt.

Sara –
This week has honestly felt like a chaotic blur, I’ve been doing last assignments and studying  nonstop, and now I have finals this week. But I’m almost done, which is my only motivation. Ha
Here’s a look at my schedule this week, I’m sure I’ll add more to it as time goes on though. Lol

Hannah –
I’m still going crazy with my plants! I can’t help it, I keep finding some great ones! I picked up a couple of azalea bushes and some purple rose bushes that were discounted this week. They’re gonna look really nice beside my house, and add some color to the side area.

DIY Recipe Binder by Erika of Living Well Mom
WE think that Erkia’s printable for a recipe binder is so cute! It’s a great way to organize all of your recipes that you use, plus it would be a great thing to put together for a housewarming gift, or bride to be. I love the idea of passing down your home recipes to a new cook.
