Last week was the annual Apple Festival in our town. It’s the one time of year where we all get together and celebrate our community’s rich history, and its roots in the apple orchards. If you’ve been a reader for a while you know we usually like to go up and check everything out and of course take a few Wearable Wednesday photos.
Since I was going to be doing a fair amount of walking, for my outfit I decided to keep it comfy & casual. I wore this cute Ariel Vneck that I got from Torrid, and paired it with a pair of dark wash skinnies. Also because it was a tiny bit cool when I set out that morning I put on my fancy zebra cardigan from Torrid. I love this cardigan because its really light so its great for if its not super cold. Plus hello, it’s zebra print!
Because I live only a couple blocks from the festival, I never want to go more than one day. Lol I usually have to go so I can get some apple butter because that’s a must! I also picked up a few other goodies, which I’ll probably show on the blog soon. Overall it was a fun day.
I’m wearing this super casual look, and decided to tie a flannel around my waist to break the outfit apart and look a little more pulled together. I’ve been waning a buffalo plaid flannel since last year and was super excited to find one last week when I was at Walmart for only $8. It is a mans flannel, so it does look a little oversized on me, but I don’t mind it since I’ll wear it for more casual looks.
