Mini Monkey Bread Recipe

Making Monkey Bread has kind have been a family tradition in our household. I’ve been making it ever since I was a little girl, baking with my grandma. I used to love making it because I could get my hands dirty, and it was so fun smooshing the dough into the pan. It was the best, man!

This recipe is the very same that me and my grandma used back then, and still use today. It’s really simple, fun to make, and OH SO YUMMY! Sara and I decided to take it and make it our own by using our Winton Mini Bundt cake pan, to make Mini Monkey Bread! The recipe is the same, but by changing the pan, we ended up with some adorable mini breads. These minis would be a great thing to bring to a holiday party, or even to put in festive boxes/baggies and give as Christmas gifts!

Here’s what you’ll need:
1 Cup of Sugar
2 Tbsp of Cinnamon
4 pack of small Pillsbury Homestyle Biscuits (you can use any brand, but we love Pillsbury)
1 Cup of Pecans (chopped)
2/3 cup Butter
1 Cup Brown Sugar

Mini Monkey Bread Recipe

To prep your Monkey Bread making, first preheat your oven to 350 degrees, and grease your mini bundt pan(or you can use a regular bundt pan). While your oven is heating up, you can start on the recipe! In a bowl, mix white sugar with only 1 tsp. of cinnamon. Open 2 cans of biscuits, and cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. We found the easiest way to do this, is just use your scissors (after washing them first!).

Then roll the pieces into the brown sugar. Layer in the min bundt cake pan. After you have your first layer, sprinkle in some of the pecans. Repeat the same steps until each section is full. Make sure to pack the pieces in pretty tightly, so that it will hold its shape after it’s baked. Once they’re all packed in, you want to prepare your glaze.

For the glaze, melt the butter and add brown sugar, and the other Tbsp of cinnamon. Pour a little bit of this mixture onto each mini bundt before putting in the oven. Once that’s done, you can stick them in the oven for 10-15 minutes, and let them bake.

Once they’re done, remove them and eat! You can also put these in little festive bags and give them out as Christmas gifts as well.

No matter what you decide to do with these Mini Monkey Breads, they are guaranteed to be delicious!!
